Mind and Heart Alignment Infusion: Brew of the Month February 2026

Preview

I find myself craving rituals and brews that help me feel centered this time of year. Practices that soften the emotional body while grounding the mind. This season of the year is a time of rest, renewal, and refocus. This inspired me to continue my Brew of the Month series with a blend that brings both the physical and the mental worlds into conversation. This Mind & Heart Alignment Infusion is a cup of calm, clarity, and connection, perfect for the introspective days of late winter.

February is a month of inner recalibration — a time when the mind seeks clarity and the heart seeks softness. To complement this, our brew today is crafted with ashwagandha, rose hips, and rose petals to support emotional resilience, grounded thinking, and a sense of inner harmony. In this recipe, you’ll explore how herbs can bridge the mental and emotional bodies, creating a blend that soothes, steadies, and gently opens.

Herbal Breakdown

Add a pinch of each for a single serving.

Ashwagandha Root

Ashwagandha is the grounding anchor of this blend. As an adaptogen, it supports the nervous system, eases stress, and helps regulate the body’s response to overwhelm. Rather than sedating, it creates a calm, steady focus. The kind of focus that allows the mind to settle and the heart to soften.

Its earthy, slightly nutty flavor adds depth and warmth to the infusion, creating a stable foundation for the more delicate herbs.

Rose Hips

Rose hips bring brightness and nourishment. Rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, they support immunity, skin health, and overall vitality. Truly a welcome boost in late winter. Their tart, fruity flavor adds a lively note to the blend, balancing ashwagandha’s earthiness.

Energetically, rose hips are uplifting without overstimulating, helping the mind feel clearer and the heart feel more resilient. They act as a bridge between grounding and opening.

Rose Petals

Rose is the emotional softener, the heart’s gentle companion. These petals soothe the nervous system, ease emotional tension, and invite compassion and openness. Rose brings a touch of sweetness and a delicate floral aroma that harmonizes beautifully with the tartness of rose hips.

Energetically, rose helps align the emotional body with the mental one, encouraging clarity that comes from softness rather than force.

Enjoy Your Cup of Tea!

A simple how to…

When I make my tea blends, I like to prepare enough for several brews, but you can always add a pinch of each herb directly to your cup for a single serving. Dried herbs are ideal for storage, though fresh rose petals can be added if you have them available.

  • 2 tbsp ashwagandha root

  • ¼ cup rose hips

  • ¼ cup rose petals

Always add water that is not quite boiling to preserve the medicinal compounds of the herbs!

This Mind & Heart Alignment Infusion is more than a tea, it’s a ritual of integration. With every sip, you invite the grounding steadiness of ashwagandha, the bright nourishment of rose hips, and the openness of rose into your day.

As winter begins to soften and the first hints of spring stir beneath the surface, let this infusion be your daily reminder to align your inner worlds — to think with the heart, and feel with the mind.

Happy brewing, and may the rest of your winter be filled with clarity, compassion, and deep inner harmony.
